Things to Look for in Greenhouse Staging
There are a few things that you have to look out for in greenhouse staging. The first is the design of the greenhouse, the materials used, and its length of use. By design what is being refered to is the way the shelves are built. Are they simple, ornate, or complex? The less fancy they are, the better the growth of the plants will be. For the materials, although it is good to keep in with the nature theme, some woods don’t mix well together. For example: chemically treated wood my have an effect on the wood that is brought in from the wild. Several chemicals may infect it and endanger the growth of the plants. What about length of use? Not all materials used in the greenhouse can last forever. You have to practice keeping costs down so that you can use the extra money for other things like more supplies.
Looking out for support is another thing in effective greenhouse staging. You can have the traditional way which is to have the shelves on fur legs like a table or have them suspended from the ceiling. Most growers would vote for the free hanging growth but it is strictly a matter of personal taste and preference. What you should be aware of is what works best for you and what is within your budget.
